Sonic forces is an action-adventure platform game, released by the Sonic Team on 7 November 2017. The game can be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft windows , Nintendo Switch and now on MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iMacs. It is similar to the previous Sonic games in gameplay ans styles, but also comes along with major improvements and differences! The goal of the game is to defeat Doctor Eggman and his army.

You can choose your character from 3 options: Sonic the Hedgehog, classic or modern, and the “Avatar”, which means that you can customize you character.Classic Sonic has a limited variety of performances. It can either make a spin dash on the ground move or a drop dash in the air in order to increase speed. The modern Sonic on the other hand can make a double jump, springs, homing attacks on enemies, grappling hooks, and even boost its speed by collecting White Wisps. The Avatar is a bit different, you can choose from 7 animals, and each has a unique ability. Also, by collecting a specific Wisps you can have another special ability, but for a limited time only.

The game is split into different levels. Each level has a theme, such as boost rails, spring boards or boost pads.The goal of each level is to fight you enemies while completing the full level. In order to fulfill your goal you have to make sure you get through the Golden Rings, which protect you from the hit of robots or other enemies, if you are hit without protection, you are killed and loose the level. You can also unlock a bonus level, by collecting Red Rings hidden during the levels.
